Life's a stage coach!!!

if not for u, then whom?
this life's a mess,
ain't it mate?
that is, if not for you

but our lives are like stage coaches
driven by horses
ain't it mate
that runs within these race courses
who has them reigns
none knows not

but they do search
all in vain ain't it mate
they all return empty
but heavier than they left

but mate i learnt something
within the confines of these
of these lifeless living
it dont matter who holds the reigns

what matters my mate
what matters in sooth is
who is he that reigns within the coach
a happy man or a sad one
and thats where i fail mate!!!
