Da psycho-DIGESTIVE limit
i cud, like... try hard at trying to get u to understand it but " you wont be able to digest it"...my favourite dialogue from his lectures, becos, he exactly knew what i was capable of and what i wasnt capable of...makes him the most best sir i have eva met.
i have a story to tell here.... once in sixth standard very long ago, a dry afternoon, hot as hell!!! walks in our Abraham Sir. The first time i meet him in a class...He is there to teach us atoms and elements... as anyone who is reading this would know his fame precedes him and we had all come to know of this Sir, who could make u shiver in a midnoon class, but also simultanously the most liked and respected Sir in School.
Anyways getting back to the narration.... He enthralls us wid a display of i dunno what but i always would imagine it to be an equivalent to havin Dumbledore give me a lecture on "Avada Kedavara" but thats what he did, he talked about U 235 in our first class... the first question i eva asked to him personally was "Sir what is a Hydrogen bomb"...
Any other Sir out of respect for my question would have me chucked out of that class or totally given me an E all terms in that year. What an irrelevant question and to most people my GENUINE curiosity would always look like da most irreverant statements (though they are never meant so). He off handedly looks out of the window at our lower ground and considers and weighs my intellectual level, all the oesophagus in my cerebrum and passes the verdict lookin at me. His first personal statement to me: "Abhilash, you wont be able to digest it."
{Later i did get him to explain it to us, well ... i would have digested it if i just knew one thing einsteins mass energy eqn but as it happened i didnt and sir was right i wasnt able to digest it}
He taught me one thing in life, doubts are the ways of measuring ur learning, not tests and curiosity the only attribute that will make u reach the top... The meaning of the word Guru spans as Abraham Thomas Sir for me.
